Updates to Communicare KPI reports
June 21, 2021
June 21, 2021
The updated KPI reports for the reporting period ending 30 June 2021 are now available.
We are rolling out the updates to the Communicare KPI reports and the GRT in the weeks leading up to July. If you would like your update to be scheduled quickly please contact the Service Desk. There are changes to the National KPIs, the OSRs, the NT AHKPIs and the NSW KPIs.
Brief summary of changes:
Most changes you identify will relate to changes in the specifications (for example, you may notice an increase in diabetes patients reported with low blood pressure because the threshold has been raised). However, there are some changes that may require further configuration changes:
– If you notice a marked reduction in women with a current cervical screening this may be because you are still using a clinical item with an export code of PAPSMEAR to record cervical screening. This should be reviewed and, if appropriate, change the export code to CST
– You may notice a reduction in OSR reporting if you have a large number of non patients. Such patients should be reviewed using a new report at Report | OSR | Non-Patient Analysis. The report has instructions on how to handle group activity non patients and anonymous non patients
– Customers with a large number of group activity services (where a patient attended for the sole purpose of attending a group session) will notice that their OSR data is reduced. Those customers who have been modifying their statistics should no longer need to
– NT customers may notice a drop in the timeliness of immunisation data, which in some cases may be zero. It is necessary for immunisation review recalls to be in place and used. Timeliness will be calculated by comparing the completion of these reviews to the age due. The leeway for age 4 months and age 12 months is one month and for age 18 months and age 4 years is three months.
