    Communicare V22.4 is a general release that meets AIR 1.3 conformance for immunisations. All health services that administer vaccinations and upload information about immunisations to the Australian Immunisation Register should upgrade to this release.

New features

HealthLink SmartForms

Communicare integrates with HealthLink SmartForms based on the Aduro standard to enable you to send structured eReferrals securely. Relevant data, such as patient and medication information from the patient's Communicare record is automatically added to the form you select.

Changes to Communicare for HealthLink SmartForms include the following:

New HealthLink SmartForms system right, to apply to user groups for users who need access to create, modify and delete SmartForms. For more information, see HealthLink SmartForms - system rights.
Submitted eReferrals are displayed in Communicare. For more information, see HealthLink SmartForms.
New system settings to connect your Communicare instance to HealthLink and the Aduro Forms Engine. For more information, see System Parameters - Secure Messaging.
Addition of a WebView2 Runtime dependency so that HealthLink SmartForms can be displayed.

Central Data changes

You can review new clinical items and reports using these reports:

Report > Reference Tables > Clinical Item Types Added - enter the days since the upgrade and choose Central.
Report > Database Consistency > Central Reports

Installation Requirements

Communicare V22.3 is supported on Windows 10 and later and Windows Server 2016 and later. Security and other updates from Microsoft must be installed as they become available.
.NET 6 is required for the Communicare server
.NET 4.8 is required for the Communicare client
Firebird HQBird 2.5.9 is now an external dependency. Firebird 2.5 and earlier is no longer supported.
WebView2 Runtime V115 or later must be installed on the Communicare server and every Communicare client. Click to download.
