Improved User Licence Review Process

Communicare is pleased to share that our annual user licence review process has changed.
Our customers told us that using our previous annual ‘point in time’ method to calculate user licences was confusing and made it challenging to budget for.
We’ve listened to you, and we want to simplify this process.
Our new process of reviewing user licences will be based on the average number of user licences in your health-setting over a rolling 12-month period. We will review the user licences on a quarterly basis, with the first review taking place in October 2021. Following each review, you will be invoiced accordingly. We will monitor this process over the coming year.
A scheduled Licence Review report will be added to the central reports and you will be able to run it at anytime to have visibility of the average number of user licences in use within your health service over the last 12-month period. The scheduled report will run every quarter commencing on 1st October 2021 to support the pro-rata quarterly invoices where additional licences have been used.
This new process can help provide increased clarity and more certainty from a budgeting perspective.
Keeping track of your licences used is visible via managing users which is a key configuration task for your System Administrator and is referenced in our onboarding Knowledge Centre article.
If you require support with the review process or have any questions, you may email either Communicare’s Account Manager, Brendan Hooper, brendan.hooper@health.telstra.com or our Clinical Safety and Services Manager Yvonne Zardins, yvonne.zardins@health.telstra.com.
