Prescribing Tip – Bulk represcribing medications
The prescribing feature in Communicare enables you to represcribe multiple, current, regular and once off medications simultaneously and change the duration for all medications if required. You can also re-prescribe expired regular medications.
In the patient’s Clinical Record, on the Medication Summary, click Represcribe Medications. Medications that can be re-prescribed are listed. Prescriptions are listed with in order of expiration date, with those expiring soonest listed first. You can view a subset of the current medications by setting the filter. In the medications list, select all the medications that you want to re-prescribe.
