“At the heart of our modernisation programme is the need to provide connected solutions to better serve the current and emerging healthcare needs of our customers and their communities and move the industry away from fragmented and disconnected healthcare. This is founded on the pillars of simplification, modernisation, and partnerships, which together will empower our organisation to provide better connected healthcare solutions and services globally.”
“This pivotal shift marks a significant milestone in our journey to drive innovation, enhance customer experiences and foster collaborative growth.”
As part of this transformation, Telstra Health has a new Executive line up with Managing Director Elizabeth Koff AM appointing:
As part of the partnership landscape to support this vision, Telstra Health has entered a strategic partnership with Cognizant to streamline its operations whilst enabling the business to transition to a single platform, providing a more seamless experience for clinicians and patients using its digital health solutions.
Through this partnership, Telstra Health will leverage scale, drive consistency and establish a more efficient delivery model to achieve its ambition by 2030 to be a global company providing a single, interoperable digital health platform and specialised services that leverage data to enable higher quality of care.
In September, Telstra Health confirmed that as a result of these necessary changes, unfortunately some roles would no longer be required in its workforce – a move echoed across the global tech industry throughout 2024.
Elizabeth commented that: “These changes will strengthen our position as Australia’s leading digital health solutions and services provider and position us well for further growth in international markets.”
