Colour Codes for Medicare Details

Communicare performs validations to check that a patient's Medicare details are correct.

Incomplete Medicare Details

In the Service Recording list, or other patient lists, for patients whose Medicare Card details are incomplete, a Incomplete Medicare details icon green card icon with a red slash through it is displayed. Click Change Details to complete the Medicare details.

Patient Biographics

In the Change Person Details window, on the Personal tab, the background colours of Medicare details change depending on the Medicare status:

Background Colour	Medicare Card Validity
White	Medicare Card was never validated online.
Yellow	Medicare Card is mistyped or not present at all.
Purple	Medicare Card is being validated. Please wait.
Green	Medicare Card was valid last time Communicare checked.
Red	Medicare Card was not valid last time Communicare checked.
